Business Insurance... Employers Liability & Professional Indemnity..

Can anyone recommend an insurance company for employers liability insurance? its a legal requirement, however the people I have called dont seem to have many policies for IT / Internet marketing companies!

Also anyone have professional indemnity insurance?

Before I got involved in the whole jewellery malarky (which really changes the way you look at insurance premiums forever!), I used to have a great policy with Norwich Union.

I think that they called it a small Business Policy. I can't remember the full details, but it covered most of the common stuff in one hit (equipment, public liability, legal cover etc.. etc..).

If you are a member, the Federation of Small Business used to offer discounts on something very similar as well (and you get the legal insurance free as a member).

Will look into NU, I forgot you have to go through a broker for all these insurance policies.

I have completed a few so will get the quotes through next week.

I am an IT contractor and use http://www.caunceohara.co.uk/. Cost was about 110 pounds for employee/public liability/equipment etc. Never had to claim though.
