Advice Please... Starting Out

Hi Folks

I wondered if anyone could offer any advice, we have recently registered as a Limited company with the intention of running a website for Car Insurance as an affiliate.

We have created a brand that we feel we can market well and bring people to the site and I am currently developing the website.

I have Director level experience in IT and Marketing however have no affiliate experience.

Any advice for a new starter, there seems to be conflicting advice regarding FSA registration as some companies such as Endsliegh dont require it.

As experienced affilaites yourselves could you advise if this type of business is viable, is anyone else running simalar companies and making reasonable profits.

I know it's a week later and you've probably made an advance on the situation, it may however be worth taking a look at the fsa website, a section like the following

Do I need to be authorised?

I can't be too much help myself I'm afraid, it may be worth having a word with your accountant, they should be able to clear things up for you. :tup

Yes it has the potential to be viable but it depends entirely on your ability as an affiliate. If you are asking this question because you are new and don't know whether there is the possibility of making a decent commission income then be advised that yes there is the potential, but getting to that point is by no means easy - it is highly competitive and you will need high ability to reach this point.
