Hi All,

I have a question which no one seems to able to answer.

I have a client that is raising an Application for payment of rent, so say they raise this in January 2008.

This is then paid in October 2008 and a tax invoice is issued and sent out.

Would this be classed as cash accounting or not?

I've told that due to the application being raised, that this is not cash accounting for VAT? But I'm pretty sure this is.

Any advice or comments welcome please.
