Its up to you which way you go:
- PPC is instant meaning you can be earning money this afternoon. Problem is you need big bucks to bankroll your advertising spend until you get paid. The minute you stop spending is the minute you stop earning too. Some guys here make plenty of cash this way but its not my cuppa tea.
- SEO is a long term highly technical solution. It would involve you learning how it works and how to get your optimisation spot on. It normally takes 3-6 months from site launch to getting a decent workable traffic flow. Its a snowball from there though once your out of the "sandbox".
Another thing about SEO is that it will earn you money 24/7 365 days of the year with relatively no input. Once you have spent your money gathering links and creating content and your site ages in its easy street!
Course you can do both! Using all your SEO powers to nab those killer keywords while getting the PPC to mop up any spill over traffic. In the long run id say this is the more profitable approach as your getting the benefits of both techniques without any of the drawbacks.
