    Hi Folks,
I have spent much of the last 6 months focusing on loan lead generation, rather than working leads for back end commission. So, I am slightly out of touch with what is currently available in the market, paticularly for unsecured loans.

I have a client, who is a personal friend of mine, who wishes to obtain a £5k unsecured loan. She has a job, pulling in around £18k and various commitments including credit cards and a car loan. Her credit is not perfect. She want the loan and cares little about the charges, as long as she gets it!!!

At one time, this case would have gone to Welcome and I would have been confident that it would have gone through without too much difficulty. Of course, Welcome have gone, now. Indeed the market seems to have contracted considerably in terms of lenders of that ilk. I guess Provident may be an option.

Can any one suggest any other options, or perhaps be willing to take on the case. I am not interested in making any money out of it; just want to get it sorted for the client!

Any suggestions / help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi Gramtrad,
Did you mange to get a loan to help your friend out? It is pretty difficult out there? Used Norton a couple of times, but they use(exclusively, I think) Blackhorse, who are very picky.
Spoke to broker support at Y3S loans and they are lending a max£3k, and only with a guarantor in place....
How is your lead generation going?
    kind regards,
    Robert

I feel that your friend won't have much luck. We are sub prime broker and work with all the lenders in this market, it is very difficult to get a loan and if you can, they will be under £3k with a very high interest rate based on the information you have given.

Get her to try FLM, Provident REAL, Everday Loans and Black Horse. The others only lend up to around £1.5k.
