I'm not interested in dealing with loan brokers, but which loan lenders in the market place are lending? Also what is their criteria? (roughly)

    cheers.

To be honest you have no chance of dealing direct with the lenders. If you dont know the answers to your own question then doubly so.

One merchant who I can tell you are definitely lending and very hungry for more business is Logbook Loans.

In case you are not aware they provide no credit check, any purpose cash loans secured against the value of a vehicle. Depending on the value of the vehicle you can lend up to £50k and the customer continues to drive the vehicle for the duration of the loan until fully settled.

Clearly this is a sub-prime product, aimed at people who can not get credit from more traditional lenders. It competes well with payday loans as the cash be made available within 24 hours, however you can borrow a lot more and the APR is more attractive (e.g. Logbook Loans typical APR 437.4% / Payday Loans typical APR 1700% plus).

Commissions are £10 per valid lead, which is a genuine customer owning a vehicle that is less than 10 years old and free of finance.

We are the agency managing their affiliate programme and if you would be interested to join the closed network please don't hesitate to either PM or email me.

    Thanks,

No you dont need to be regulated by the FSA. FSA authorisation is mainly used for the sale of insurance products, You DO need to be regulated if you want to sell most insurance products.

It is very unlikley that any of these companies will let you introdcuce business direcly to them, they may make yu use one of there master brokers, most lenders nowadays require a gtd number of applications before they will even consider opening up and agency for you.

Depending on how you want to introduce business to these lenders you will need a Consumer Credit Licence issued by the Office Of Fair Trading.

This is just basic stuff if dealing with consumer finance. I would highly recommend that you hire and/or consult with a compliance Officer to help you stay the right side of the law.

Download CCL guidelines from OFT website and read over more than once to gain an understanding.
