Has anyone done any work for Relax Group Plc and if so did they pay on time?

    Lee,

Is it appropriate to make a post like this on a wide open fourm when you know I am a member, perhaps you think it is a way into pressuring us for payment. Perhaps I should comment on the incredibly unproffesional service you offer and various other isues with your supply. Simple fact is we have many partners who we have a mutually agreeable relationship with.

Any more comments Lee and you will find yourself in a serious legal situation.

I will have someone contact you today

    Carl.

Dealt with Relax for a long time, never any problems whatsoever in fact they frequently ask us for invoices!

    A highly recommended partner indeed.

Ditto - we only worked with them for a short while, but as Richard says above, never any problems with money.

Never had payment issues with Carl or any of his team. Very honest, reliable and trustworthy.

To jump to Lee's defense I cant see anyone slagging anyone off. It looks like a genuine question.

    Jay

I think you may find that when someone starts a post

    Payment Issues

Its not the best start for an open forum

For the record I have just done another deal to supply Relax group with leads.

May I suggest lead providers do as I do and reverse check companies buying leads to avoid problems in dealing with companies that dont pay.

In my experiance companies that dont pay fall into two categories those who had no intention and those who have an issue with quality. I think this thread falls into the later.

Thanks for all the posts guys, it seems I may have been on to something as Relax Group have now gone into administration:

    Kind Regards,

    Lee
    Lee,

I am not really so sure why you have it in for relax group, as you can see no one has ever had any issus with us. Please sit back and gloat "being onto something" as many people are under threat of loosing their jobs.

For the record we are putting an offer in to buy the business and take it private to take care of the staff within the business and to continue working with some excellent business partners, for which you are certainly not one, once again you never had a payment issue you had a disputed transaction based on the fact that you were unable to supply what you offered.

Please crawl back inside your own ass.

Been on to something Lee? You said that 5 months ago, I predict the end of time in 5 months - let's see if I'm right.

In any case, we were paid yesterday so can't see any issues.

    Rich

This looks nastily similar to the Loanmakers/Debt Matters fiasco from last year...

There seems to a be a general view amongst some businesses that have traditionally been dependent on the secured lending market that they will be fine if they simply downsize and "wait it out" until the market recovers.

Facts are, the market will not be recovering anytime soon, and the clever players have moved into more lucrative and stable markets such as Life Insurance. In the early days of the loan market's decline, most brokers moved into Debt Management, but this business has become so saturated and competetive that the margins are starting to disappear.

Regardless of what happens in the housing market or to interest rates, until we start to see LTV's creep back up towards 90% or higher, the lending market will remain dead on it's feet. Most people don't have 30% or more equity/deposit available, which means that most people don't qualify in the current lending market. Add to that the tendency of most to overvalue their own property and the valuer's current cautious approach and the picture just looks even bleaker.

For anyone "waiting" for an upturn my advice would be to forget it and diversify, which is something that many people forget to do when things are booming. Loan brokers need to stop crying into their spilt milk and find new markets sooner rather than later - if the lending market does eventually pick up, the worst that can then happen is that they have a business with a diversified income stream for the future.

And finally Carl, I don't think posting on here is doing you any favours - in your shoes I wouldn't bother dignifying these comments with a reply.
