Hi,
I have set up a sales team in the West Midlands offering a wide range of financial services for clients. We will be rolling this out across the UK later this year. We are not FSA regulated but introducers who are marketing hard for clients.

The guys we were working for have let us down, so we are looking to introduce business to a new broker(s) in the following areas:
- equity release/lifetime mortgages
- pension transfers
- mortgages (buy to let/residential)
- investments (ISAs, shares, investment bonds etc)
- life insurance/health insurance/general insurance
- commercial insurance

Am looking to set up new arrangements with a new broker we can introduce for within the next 10 days.

Abbey, Your name is at the bottom of an application form, saying the information was correct, so I would judge that, should the Lender pursue this information, that you may be prosecuted for supplying incorrect information. This is regardless of what you and the broker discussed.
There are such things as Fast-track mortgages where a Lender will ask for little or no information, regarding income, but will always excercise the right to "audit" a percentage of cases, to show they are using due diligence and care.
Your mortgage application will simply not proceed to Offer stage, and any further action will be up to the Lender.
