Your credit report is your financial history as stored by one or more of the credit agenices (Experian, Equifax and Call Credit). It is made up of public data which lists any CCJs you may have had registered against you, and private data about your financial commitments and history which only group members (e.g. banks) can access, or you can access using on of the services like Credit Expert from Experian. Using this service you can also check for a history of searches on your report as they may not be conducted without your permission.

A credit score is a number calculated by the agency based upon your credit report which aims to give an indication of the risk associated with lending you money. Most financial institutions will use a combination of both when making a decision on lending money.
