I think its a Brilliant idea
Just a thought people - but after seeing some of the scams and posts and negativity on this site as of late, I was thinking to myself If we could see the IP address that the message was posted via this would help link certain login's to certain people and also help when deciding who I do business with...
Anyone know if this would work or possible????
Anthony

My understading is that IP addresses are not always static. This means that some internet providers IP address changes every time that a browser is opened.
Your idea would work if IP addresses were static and the same IP address were selected each time.
Hope this helps
Joe
I agree it would be a great idea.
But as stated people on here use BB, Phone replying and a like. I personally use my laptop both here at home and then at the call centre so it would show two different IP address's for me at the least.
Great Idea,
Maybe people should display thier IP address/s at the bottom of each post aswell as on thier personal page.
Are there security issues around this, i.e. hackers and general cyber nasties?
You shouldn't rely on IP either as it'd going to give you false hope.
Do the normal level of checks before you carry out business with anyone.
Things you could do:
credit check business - you get buy reports on companies
take references and check them out
double check all business details given. Do a little research.
And remrmber when it sounds too good to be true, it's normally because it is.

Surely its more simple than that!
Lead generator supplies lead, quality checks out, buyer pays.
If lead supplier cant do this, then supplier wont get any business1
Please dont throw up any DAFT scenarios.
