My site is doing fairly well but still nowhere near 70 applications a day; however, the last 3 months have been fairly profitable![]()
For 18 months my commission from payday loans increased more or less every month until about 3 months ago when it dropped by about 90% of what it was commission wise, anybody else experienced this drastic drop as well. I've been told its the quality of my traffic but it never changed from the previous 18 months so I cant see it dropping so much so fast, obviously people don't have to put figures but just wondered if anyone else has had a massive decline in the last 3 months.
Its like a top 5 listing in the free rankings for a high volume payday loan keyword only brought in about 1 or 2 applications being accepted a day, my ppc conversions went from £10 an application to £100 within a month or so, I know the market is becoming saturated but surely it would not result in what my sites experiencing. Applications have dropped from 40/50/60/70 to around 7/8/9/10 a day!!

We're still producing good numbers and equally good acceptance levels from natural listings - we don't do PPC.
If anything we've seen numbers increase in the last few months in line with our rise in Google / Bing and Yahoo.
The Payday market is always going to be pretty saturated - just make sure you're got a few lenders on your books!
I've seen my applications fall despite my rise in google, sometimes fluctuating between 2nd/3rd for the highest volume keyword ie "payday loans" yet still I get awful application figures from my free rankings and even thos ethat apply are declined for duplicate, my duplicate rate is about 90-95% id say.
