These are a bit expensive aren't they ?

If the average premium is £15 and the convertion rate is 25% (yours can be better!!) I will earn about £250 per sale. I will have a 50% claw back (the claw back is around 50% here on A4u) and I will remain with £130 (a bit more than half!!) and I will pay you £140 for leads.

It's a no brainer isn't it?

Advertise for a customer yourself and the acquisition of the customer will vary but most likely cost more than £35 (with zero guarantees on criteria).. our clients are converting 1 in 3 to and completing 70% of the apps. Think therefore £35 * 3 * 1.3 = £136'ish cost per customer ... Average commission around £400 - £136 = £264 ... ROI is roughly 7 times your money back.

It's not quite as you described as there is a high claw back rate using hotkey leads. Altdough they initially convert better compared with web generated leads the prospects will stop paying the premium 3 - 4 month down the line and you have do send your commission back.

I will like to ask if some buyers can tell us their claw back rate on hotkey life insurance leads. Mine is close to 50% but I still managed to get a very small profit by paying less per lead and asking the call centre to change a few things in the way they generate the leads.

We sell for £25 each (subject to criteria) and have been doing so for years. We dont ask for details of conversion or commissions generated we just concenentrate on supplying whatever our customer wants and will tailor our sytems to meet special requirements.
