There was a huge amount of media coverage yesterday on many mainstream radio channels, in the press, on major news channels and online covering the Payment protection Insurance Ruling which happened in court at 10am yesterday morning.

PPI is supposed to cover the cost of loan repayments in the event the customer falls ill or loses there job, however millions of customers complained they had been mis-sold a policy they would never be able to use.

At the end of last year the FSA brought in new rules ordering banks tor review past PPI sales, however the banks claimed it was unfair for new FSA regulations to apply to past complaints and launched a judicial review in protest.


Nearly three million people have been awaiting the high court ruling that happened yesturday which will set a standard by which compensation claims are judged.


Consumers heard the fantastic news yesterday that the banks must accept compensation claims from customers who were sold the policy before new rules were introduced at the end of last year!

This is excellent news to the vast amount of customers that have been waiting for this ruling and it is great news to all affiliates who are promoting a PPI Claims campaign as these companies will be inundated with enquiries!

It’s a very good idea for all email marketers to get this in their schedules ASAP and cover the next few days.
