Hi,

This depends on what type of affiliate you wish to become. If you are simply displaying banners that direct people to some other companies payday site then you do not need any registration. However if you are collecting peoples details yourself and then posting them to lenders then you need two specific licenses:

The first is your licence to broker credit, which you get from the OFT and costs about £900. This has an undefined expiry date and I expect sooner or later it will need to be renewed if legislation changes.

The second is your registration under the data protection act which you get from the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) and costs about £35. This has to be renewed each year.

Technically speaking, no you wont need a license if you are using an iFrame from a network that has one. My network, T3Leads, allows affiliates to use our CMS.
