Hi everyone

I am hoping for some practical advice from here!

In a nutshell, I used to be a long term user of Payday Loans, and have probably had one from every lender in the land at some point.

I've now decided that maybe it's time for me to start earning money from them, and I'd like to think I have a reasonably good knowledge of how they work and the different lenders out there etc.

As a (previous) customer of these companies, I know exactly what people search for when they are looking for loans, and I honestly believe that a website that approaches this type of finance from a 'users' perspective could be really successful.

People looking for payday loans want lenders, not brokers - so my website is geared at providing a comprehensive list of ALL the payday lenders that operate in the UK market. The website will be clean and not geared towards any 1 particular lender, although I have left space on the front page for a 'Lender of the Month' should something like that be an option. I know of around 25-30 lenders operating here and as a customer looking for a loan, other comparison sites only list 5 or 10 companies. I honestly believe that providing one website with all the lenders (my website will be allthelenders.co.uk) will mean that customers will actually submit several applications per visit.

My understanding is that many users of payday loans have several loans at once, and apply for more loans to clear other loans - a rather vicious circle if you will. This leads to strengthen my thoughts that a consumer would apply to more than 1 lender on my site.

So, my questions is, as I am completely new to all this, what's the best way for me to approach this? My initial idea was to simply have a 'Lenders' page on the site which lists all the lenders and the consumer would simply click on the company logo to be directed to the lenders site, and from there they complete an application etc. I am not going down the route of comparison etc, I think it's pointless as all the info is on the lenders site. I simply want to give people a genuine list of lenders in the UK. I'm also not going down the route of applying through my site due to licences etc - I don't want to collect personal data.

All I want really is to be paid for every click through to the lenders website, and for every application that is made/accepted etc but I really don't know where to start - should I approach each company separately and ask if they are happy for me to promote their site, and agree commissions? Is there some software or company that could perhaps assist me with this - I've read on here about pingtrees etc but I don't think they are what I am looking for.

So if anyone would like to offer me some guidance, I'd really appreciate it. It maybe what I am suggesting is not possible, if it is I'd like to know and would be open to alternative ideas.

Thanks guys
