We have some recently generated PPI leads for sale, with the following information,

Name
Address
Contact information
Which Lender the loan was with that had the associated PPI insurance
Loan amount taken
Year
No DMP/IVA/Bankruptcy

We are essentially looking to expand our lead generation contact centre and we are looking to build new relationships, we can produce these bespoke daily for the right client with set callback/contact times for them and agreement numbers taken, for a higher price.

For the time being we are prepared to hand over a free sample of 5 to anyone that enquires at sales@ascotassociates.info

If they are happy from that point we are letting the rest go at £1 per unit of data as a sort of loss leader to prove that we can produce quality.

We can produce fully bespoke claims for £29 a lead with agreement numbers taken, if you should so require.

This is a scam. They claim to be MOJ registered - they are not and the "lead" is one of their Directors!

Just to clarify, we have never sold leads to this individual as they are a complete stranger that approached us!

It was a free sample to show how the process works, with no obligation to purchase, and to my knowledge it was someone that wanted to claim and hadnt yet.

This individual was involved with our business working for the Solictors we represent and had left to take a job at Google, and is only part of our business on paper.

We would have been quite open with that information if asked, we could have sent any lead, but we sent that one because it was a genuinely good lead, and we thought there was potential for a relationship.

Surely if we were scammer like a lot of people on here, we would have just demanded cash etc?

I'm sure if you had actually taken the chance to call the lead they would of explained that they know us, and used to have a senior role in the business, and they were just doing us a favour, ironically that would have meant you got your pack back, and would have made your 25%!

We are MOJ regulated through our trading name on authorised business search that we use when dialling various campaigns for PPI, not as our main company name.

Regardless of that we are pulling all business from this forum as of today, as mud sticks etc etc, and we don't really do any business as such from here anyhow, it's a forum for affiliate marketing?

No bad feelings toward Sterling, the whole escapade looked really dodgy and suspect, I would have done the same as them, we put ourselves in a situation where we looked unprofessional, like "scammers" or however you put it, and for that and only that we apologise.

Tom changes his story somewhat. In an email to us yesterday he stated that it was a coincidence that Ben Khan was a Director who happened to have the same name as the client!

I emailed back to point out that they also shared the same birthdate!

However a quick google search of Ascot Brookes Ascot Associates and or Ben Khan will reveal the truth.
