Depends what they mean by mortgage protection insurance really!

MPPI - also known as ASU (Accident, Sickness and Unemployment) - pays a monthly figure, usually for upto 12 months to cover mortgage costs - I guess this would be the one they might mean

CIC - critical illness cover - pays lump sum or regular payment if diagnosed with critical illness.

term cover - life insurance for a fixed term - can be level, increasing, level or decreasing - decreasing term is often known as mortgage life cover.

    Hi,

Our commission rate for MPPI is 45% of the net premium. On monthly premium business we receive 12 months commission upfront in the month following the first direct debit collection.

We pay away 40% of the commission. If the client cancels the policy within the 12 months then claw back will take place pro rata.

Am interested how you affect your enquiries as this is a regulated product and promotion and the sale of the policy has to be done by a qualifed adviser, also what sorts of volume you are looking at.

Any questions on this then please give me a call or respond to this message.

    Many thanks.
