The Future of the Finance Vertical Forum

Would it be worth splitting the Finance vertical into two channels - 1 for general finance CPA and 1 for Lead-Gen ?

At present almost all of the threads in Finance are concerning lead-gen and there are a lot of aggressive posts, I imagine a lot of merchants and networks running CPA activity on unsecured loans, credit cards, insurance, banking etc now see this part of the forum as a "snipers alley" and stay well clear for fear of either being flamed or ignored. Splitting the vertical might be one way of bringing them back??

There is more to finance than lead-gen on secured, mortgage, IVA etc - is it worth separating the traditional banking side of things to get some more information out there on what's on offer?

There's a lot more to this vertical than just lead generation. I second tier currency speculation so I'm always interested in money markets and currency movements. Sorry but simply threads on leads etc are a bit of a turn off. Would like to read more about shares and affiliate programs concerning brokerage.

As a new member who has just watched from the sidelines can I suggest that the gang mentality against new posters stops. I have noticed that he same 4 people gang up against all new posters to get them to stop posting. If this is to be a true forum then other people should be allowed to express ideas without being attacked. It looks like the forum is only here to promote 4 companies.

As I said what do I know I am just a newbie that wont post due to the above.

If possible why dont all members make up there own minds about new posters!!

Either he's making the point that the finance vertical could be split into many many subforums making it unmanageable via very clever analogy with watches or ..... he's an idiot.

on a serious note, yes Lead Gen should be split, Lead gen in General, not just in Financial Services

After a4uexpo we'll create a new forum for all Lead Gen activity - Any lead gen posts (loans, personal injury etc) in the finance forum will be forbidden.. how does that sound?

I think two is best way.

finance is muddy pond of the bunch as some of the guys don't play nicely lol, so not really fair for everyone else to be in murky water as a result
