Following my previous thread on comparison of leadpoint and leadbay, I finally decided to give leadpoint a try AGAIN......

I sent 4 remortgage leads to them (3 prime and 1 sub-prime), guess what is their pay out? All is £12.60

I will through that sub-prime should pay higher than that.......somewhere around £70 (previously I sent them a sub-prime lead before, I got around £70). The problem with this leadpoint is that they don't have a table to indicate what's the payout of each particular leads.......Although leadbay payout is low, at least they have a table to indicate how much you will received for each lead type in relation to postcode.

Please DO NOT sell remortgage leads to leadpoint (at least in the meantime)......damn LOW...not up to market value. Hope someone from leadpoint will be able to see this thread and help me to contribute this thread further......thanks

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the message.

    A couple of points :

    1. In a lead generation market place price point varies, therefore there are good times to start a campaign and bad times. Had you got in contact with us or replied to the emails we’ve sent you over the past few months, we would have advised you not to have restarted a campaign on a Saturday, as this is traditionally the day with the least demand therefore a lower price point.

    2. We are totally transparent about our price point and at the moment if you sent in a variety of remortgage leads you should expect to receive an average of £25-35. If you sent in just 4 leads on a Saturday without warning, you should expect to receive a lower average price point.

We are committed to building successful partnerships with affiliates who are able to deliver volume and quality. The way we achieve this is by having regular communication with our key partners. Whilst we appreciate a forum offers people to voice the opinion it can sometimes we more productive to work directly with a Lead Point Account manager so we are able to fully understand your requirements. We are also not in the business of speaking negatively about merchants, affiliates or Lead Generators as is counterproductive. We are in the business of listening to our customers so we are able to improve and service them as we best we can.

Please call (02031782180), email (alain.desmier@leadpoint.com) or PM me and we can discuss your next move.

    Thanks,

    Alain

Interesting.... Do you put it down to lack of merchant take up?

Surely the merchants are able to buy 4 leads on a Saturday... If not , why not turn quotas off and disallow affiliates to deliver at weekends.

I guess this emphasises the importance of using a partner who has a large number of actively bidding brokers (even on the weekend). Leadbay's market dominance is down to the sucess we've had in this area. Our Lead exchange launched a good 2 years before any other lead exchange service in the UK and we have over 6000 registered mortgage brokers.

Interestingly so far this month we have had the highest average lead price for a January ever as a result of our extensive marketing to mortgage brokers and even the credit crunch seems to be helping the overall average price as more brokers move to purchase prime remortgage leads.

We've never had quotas and never asked affiliates to stop sending leads half way through the month.

Well.....since Alain mentioned that due to lack of demand in the weekend, therefore I tried to sent one lead yesterday evening to see the difference (fresh lead less than an hour).........Guess what, lead reject and all my leadpoint account have been deactivated this morning What a surprise and response!!

    Hi Teo ( Direct2finance)

First things first, as I explained in my email and forum post to you, we only accept real time internet leads therefore we have to be confident that leads are indeed being sent live and as I explained in the email and forum post we always make a point of speaking to our affiliates before they start sending in leads. I’ve deactivated your lead channel temporarily so you and I can have a chat about how many leads you plan to send through, what your price point expectations and so I can explain things like the return policy to you. Thanks for providing me with your number, I’ll give you a call now.

In reply previous posts, to be clear, we don’t have quotas and we have a full active bid grid on the weekend to ensure that leads always go matched. This issue with Direct2Finance is that they fired up an old lead channel and starting sending leads in without warning. We always ensure that we manage our buyers tightly so that sellers can budget and ensure they are making the returns they need.

From an affiliates perspective, LeadPoint is all about returning the highest amount of money per lead back to the seller. We have had a surge of new seller signups because we take a fair commission, we always strive to offer the best possible price point and we can accommodate large volumes. Our US roots means we have had years of development and our reporting systems enable sellers to track their leads which makes our platform as transparent as possible.

Simon, we always advise our sellers to try all the lead generation market places to find out what fits their business model and lead flow and we always speak very highly about what you have achieved in the UK. In this competitive world of price comparison and choice, we think all affiliates should try both LeadPoint and Leadbay and see where they earn most money, what the return rates are like and how the commission structure works for them.

    Thanks

    Alain

no i am not Paul, actually I am foreign and recently became aware of such businesses, sending leads to brokers. there is no benefit to me if somebody send a lead to only leads or not. i just wanted to share my experience and knowledge. of course if i come across with any other brokers would let you guys know, although you all know more than i do..

the parent company is only ltd and they make money under different names, apparently for different businesses. They say one lead is not qualifies to not pay but you later understand they sold a product to the customer. We do all the dunkey work for them in a way. Prices they offer is a laugh...:td

They owe afiliates for considerable period of time and funny enough do not even attempt to make it clear unless the affiliate keep calling them for over a month. I had a acha with several affiliates of them and they have similar concerns as I have.

I dont believe FS LEADS to be honest not saying your a liar but i think u work Directly for only loans.. (you liar)

and they are a big scam.. as they have stolen and cheated many people i know..

also Paul does not work there any more.. ( or so i was led to believe )

I would just be wary and avoid doing business where anyone could lose out.. and i know only fnance will mug u as soon as they can..

also internet-laptop i can sell your Adverse/Prime Remortgage leads.. So PM me and i will pay more than Lead bay and Lead point and AMS and can sell them all day long..

the only down side is i can only sell in criteria and interested.. IE Validated leads.. But a few people will Vouch for me and my honesty.

(Please this offer does not include all indian call centres, Uk generators and Internet Generators only)

i work as a mortgage broker and use both leadpoint and leadbay .... from my point of view leadpoint offers a broker a better "buying option" - I can select loan size and the loan to value i.e 75% - most lenders are restricing critiera so as a broker there are certian leads I dont want to buy becuase they are unplaceable on the whole

    for example

prime - only want 90% or less but best deals reservbed for 60% or less
subprime - 80% or less but prefer 75% or less to have real chance

leadbay cap subprime at 85% so a visitor to your site cannot send a 90% subprime enquiry yet leadpint will accept this - nobody wants to buy it and many end up in their leadshop at discounted prices ...a few quid in most cases and some of these go unsold

are your leads outside general critiera for whcih their buyers are seeking ?

Peter there is no-one better for remo leads than ourselves..

Our prices are fair and our leads are delivered in long form format.
All criterias are preset by the merchant and ALL leads are fresh, genuine online apps. EG : Above 80% contact ratios.. Something you will NOT see from leadbay. (Also almost of them are english speaking clients, lol. )

If you want to trial a campaign then give me or Adam a shout on 0808 22 22 123.

Totally agree. I worked with them and they are absolute HAOX...never will work with them again or recommend anyone to do. It took me hell of lot of time to get my money and when I received the payment, they came up with some funny statements for rejection of my leads. STAY AWAY FROM ONLY LEADS, ONLY FINANCE and ONLY INSURANCE they are all the same company.
