    Dear fellow affiliates,

I would ask you to read this thread and learn from my mistakes!

Whilst looking for a company to take my excess affiliate generated SMS Car Leads, I stumbled across "Amazing Financial Products". I approached them and on their terms, we agreed a backend deal of £25 per application completed payable at two weekly intervals. Thirty exclusive car leads generated later and surprise, surprise no report and no reply to my numerous emails and phone calls.

I eventually (after stopping the campaign on 17th December) managed to get hold of Mark with whom I had arranged the deal with in the first place. I got the normal excuses - servers down, change of host and the fact he had forgotten to tell me the was nobody in the office from the 11th of December onwards!

I subsequently asked him to email me my report which arrived 30 minutes later. To my horror, not one single application had been taken from these fresh consumer hungry leads! Even more worryingly, Amazing Financial Products had decided to insert a "criteria" for the leads they received from me which meant that of nine interested parties, not ONE was within it!

As my other two clients experience a minimum of 50% conversion to app (which is to be expected from this type of lead) I duly called these applicants from a "Customer Service" angle to see how their application was dealt with. Low and behold, many have been through applications and have been offered finance/cars....

I have sent an email expressing my concern but really don't expect any reply on the matter!

As a result, I do have an overflow of leads for Car Finance if anybody is interested!

Hope the above proves helpful before anybody else gets stung!

    Regards

    Jules

You supplied leads, we followed most of them up.

We have been waiting since November for a contract for the leads, and our initial call with the company we told them how we operated, etc... i.e our requirements.

We received some samples initially and we received no response from them, they said they were just wanting to see what was on offer, or they were wanting more details in the new year.

And if you class a normal excuse as servers down, hence why you had issues with your broadband, can we class this as an excuse? If our servers were down, they were down, if your broadband was ripped out by a truck, then it was.

You didn't try and call us, we keep call records, you did email us, we received 1 email this year which was today.

We are allowed to be closed for xmas and new year, and we are allowed to have technical problems. If you had called, you could of left a voice mail.

In future if anyone dose not want to deal with us, that's fine, however we don't focus on leads to run our business, we have customers!

We have dealt with other people on the forums, who supply us leads, and we haven't had any issues with them! and strangely there leads are given to us, with the correct criteria!!!!!

Amazing financial products is run by a 19 year old guy so maybe he is just immature and just got greedy.

Mark, a word of advice to someone starting out - Rip off one affiliate and it will spread like wild fire and A4U is full of top class affiliates who could actually make you a fortune if you treated them right.

Your reply back to peracto is immature and childish and if you want to get anywhere in business / AM then you need to change your attidute now, or it may already be too late and the damage done.

    Smingle

Thanks for your very valid opinion and advice to Mark @ AFP. Could you recommend a reputable firm to send my applications to?

    Look forward to your response.

    Kind regards

Smingle, I couldn't agree with you more. If anything this public forum enables a company to defend itself to such allegations, when a company/person responds with such a childish tone - it strengthens the original posts points. And I for one will think more than twice before dealing with such a company.

Peracto - PM me and I can give you some ideas

RobOxeva - Exactly ! It is silly to burn your bridges especially in this situation where he could offer affiliates such high values for leads which were ultimately going to end up in the bin

More people talk about bad reputations than good reputations in this world

    Hey,

I can't say that I've had any issues with Amazing Financial Products or Mark..I speak to him on a fairly regular basis on MSN Messenger and the data that he has delivered to me has been of a good standard (We have produced good quality IVA & DM leads from the data).

    Anyways, Just my 2 cents.

Lol this is probably because he has been selling you the data of other hard working affiliates which he hasn't paid

    Just my opinion of course

I Have just had to drag myself away from cooking a lovely meal for my daughter (and a well earned brandy) to reply to the last posting from AFS...

I am not one to let things like this drag on or take up too much of my valuable time, but there are certain things that should go without saying:

1: Communication: Most of us have the ability to speak / write. This in turn has brought about many inventions to make this art form possible. I suggest regardless of contracts, trial periods, NDA's and all the other trappings of this industry, people and businesses use them! Especially as most Affiliates rely on communication to get a grasp of there earnings (due to the backend nature of our business on the whole), available monthly spend, PPC allowance - the list goes on....

2: Saving Face: Removing an embarrassing thread from this forum fools nobody. Bad news and disappointment travels - quickly...

3: Honesty: It is the best policy. If you are in the wrong, apologise.

Once again, apologies from myself if this has seemed somewhat petty when your consider the volume of leads involved but it is the principle and I am a man of them.

Thank you for reading my rant.

    Jules (Peracto).
