    I have been in the secured loan business for almost three years.

    I am currently using one brokerage, but would like to diversify my risk and want to find another brokerage who will take some leads to work.

    As of today, I am producing 50 secured loan leads/day on average. Ranges from 30 to 70, depending on the day.

    These leads have NOT been generated by telemarketing, rather from advertising via online chanels.

    These leads would be delived to you FRESH, realtime (we could set up forwarding the leads to an email of yours, or to your database where you strip my email of any details you need).

    All of these leads are of homeowners who still have a mortgage balance, are of 18 years of age or older. About 50% are for the loan purposes of home improvement and debt consolidation. Loan amounts requested range from 5k to 100k (usually). Occasionally you'll get a lead higher or lower than that amount.

    I collect 19 fields of information. What I do not collect is Partner details and income details (I figure in 30 seconds over the phone these can be determined quite easily).

    HERE IS WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR IN A PARTNERSHIP:

    The brokerage/company needs to be established and fairly large. I cannot take on startup brokerages, or those who only have 3 staff. I NEED you to be able to handle upwards of 70 leads per day.

    As you will be receiving these leads realtime from me, I need assurance that you will follow up with the applicant no more than 20 minutes after receiving said lead (in normal business hours, that is!). We all know that the faster the applicant is contacted, the higher chance the loan will complete.

    IF those above two criteria fit you, this is what I'd like by way of commission (negotiable, of course)

    Back End: 6.0% of completed loan value.

    I do good volume and my leads are of high quality. I get great completion rates from my current brokerage, so you won't be disappointed. The average completed loan amount is 25,000 pounds. In any given month I approach 1 Million pounds worth of completed loans.

    We are very interested in your proposal. We are a nationwide brokerage/packager based in South Yorkshire with an in-house contact centre operation. Our online real time case tracking faciity is proving a great success with our introducer panel and offers complete transparency as well as the option to interact with the designated case owner should you need to.

    4. What your offer for commission is. (Please don't offend me by offering 4.5% or lower) - % of the total fees (broker 2% of loan as average & proc between 4 & 6% dependent on scheme, etc) obtained by Dream Money for each case processed. To be discussed.
    5. Your method of payment (how often you pay out etc) We usually pay on the same day we receive commissions from the lender, but this can be changed to suit.

    Michael...Thanks Having been burned last November to the tune of 20k pounds I am not likely to make the same mistake twice. I will be extra careful.

    And Michael, trust me, and you know this...if I could, I would sell them all through the school...but, you know what needs to happen first.

    I should be more clear, however. I do not want to go through an affiliate marketing company, rather, I'd like to deal direct with a brokerage, not go through a middle man. Thanks in your interest!

    I'm just curious - what does it take to run a mid-size brokerage in the UK?
    I.e. how much good closers make, call-centre managers, licensing costs and so on...

    Nik (Basko), I have just looked at a proposal to establish our own loan and debt brokerage in the UK in conjunction with a well funded individual who has already built up and sold a secured lender (for around £100 million).

    After much discussion, and looking at the margins available and possible exit strategies, my conclusion was that I can make more money, with less fixed overhead, less staff, much less grief, no onerous regulations to contend with, less risk, and doing hardly anything at all.

    How? By carrying on doing what we are already doing!

    Hi. We signed up for AMS and had our site approved - Secured Loans for the UK from theloanexpert.co.uk - the best place to get a low cost loan in the UK with no problems. The only reason we didn't send any leads is that the thought of retyping form submissions was not a nice one. Instead, we just CC. our application form to a small broker known to us. I would actually very much like to send some to AMS if the retyping could be sorted out.

    Out of interest, is that the reason your leads go elsewhere Dave?

    You can CC your leads to us and they are tracked real-time in your private control panel.
    We currently accept remortgage/IVA/DM/Trust Deed/Bankruptcy/Unsecured Loan leads.

    Our Secured Loan leads program will be live this week.

    We have a solution in development at the moment, which we hope to launch next month. Can't say too much about it yet as I'd rather not disclose any secrets.
