    Hi,

Can anyone point me in the right direction, what are the alternatives to Lead Clearing House for selling loan leads generated via a finance related site?

    Best regards

    Hi Stuart

Carter-Phillips Affiliate Network launched in the finance sector in January 2005, we run many merchants campaigns, across all the fields of finance. We offer Payday Loans, Unsecured Loans, Secured Loans, Re-Mortgage, Logbook Loans, Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, and Debt Management, and monthly One Bill campaigns. In January we generated over 40,000 unique billable leads, across all campaigns.

We offer a full range of affiliate tools including e-mail creative, I frames, Banners, text links and have many white label solutions, not forgetting our customer support, which is second to none.

We will soon be expanding our network offerings, to a full range of Insurance products through the leading insurance houses, and plan to increase our finance section through 2008.

We have an in house tech team, which undertakes bespoke solutions for the industry and can build, host and maintain underwriting and export systems for an array of merchants within our industry.

We have an opt-in database of 2,050,000 e-mail address’s which we operate under licence for many companies, through our affinity partnership, so we are well placed to promote any campaigns outside our own industry.

We can not offer an alternative to Loans.co.uk offering on secured loans with LCH, but any other campaign we are right on the button.

I know this is a shameless plug, but there is nothing on the telly tonight!!

    Hi Stuart,

Leadbay is another alternative that you may be interested in taking a look at.

We monetise all types of Loan, Mortgage and Debt leads through our white labeled forms that are really simple to integrate on your site.

We provide you with real-time reporting and tracking of your leads from your own online control panel as well as real time visibility of pricing so you know exactly what you can expect to earn from us at any time as well as exactly how much you have earned from the leads you have already sent.

Feel free to PM me or give me a call on 0333 666 9000

    Best regards,

Interesting thread - what are the REAL alternatives to AMS/LCH, where you get a full range of bids for finance leads, minimal rejections, prompt and complete payments and full on one-on-one support and guidance when and if you need it?

    Honestly?...

    There are none

    AMS are good at a lot of things (mainly range and quality of leads), but they're still lacking well behind other networks in others;

technical support - A major lead network such as yourselves shouldn't have lead entry go down for an extended number of hours because they're waiting for their brother to get up and fix it.

new affiliate support - it is incredibly daunting starting with AMS, and despite being around for years, you still don't offer any kind of integration options such as iframes or server posts - wouldn't merchants prefer it if their leads came in real time? Also, I had to sign up to AMS twice, because the first headmaster I randomly picked didn't email me back ever.

Payments/Rejections - I've not been paid by AMS so I'll leave this one and agree on your reputation, but I do most of my business through another well known finance network and I've never had an issue with rejections or payments.

I don't hold a grudge, I've never put any leads your way, but its way off the mark to suggest that no other network compares - I know you've got a hugely winning proposition in secured loans (LCU), but to me, its quite clear that there are still issues with AMS's approach.

    Hello,

Looks like I started an interesting thread, I can't comment on any of the networks as I have not used any services where I can sell leads generated via my site.

Once my site is complete and I start generating leads I will try to post my thoughts on the Pro's and Con's, having had many responses, I plan to try a few alternatives.

Michael, maybe you can confirm a few things with LCH?

    1. Do you have Mortgage forms?
    2. Do you have personal loans, not just secured loans?
    3. I was told we can use your CCL license rather than having our own - is this true?
    4. At what point should I consider registering with the FSA myself
    5. Can I use other affiliate links and other networks on the same site that uses LCH forms?

I have my own data protection act number. What else do I need legally (I am pretty sure I know the answers) but wanted to ask anyway

We do recognise that working with us is much more difficult than simply signing up with a rival network, and that we have deficiencies in technical support. Until recently, as a result of the huge workload that adding big merchant campaigns has created, we have chosen not to address these weaknesses.

However, as of this moment we are finalising a new intelligent and much more affiliate-friendly set of ready to go forms, which can be integrated without too much jumping through hoops for affiliates. These will offer our members (and new members) the option of either using our own forms as supplied, or using their own forms to interact with our database through an XML SOAP service. In all cases, lead delivery will be in real time, as will any rejections due to duplication.

These forms will be far "smarter" than most other offerings in the marketplace, offering things such as telephone number validation, LTV filtering, etc, and will replace our current manual lead entry requirement, becoming compulsory within the next 6-8 weeks.

We will still require all sites to be approved prior to sending leads, as we believe that this is the only way to properly control quality.

We have also appointed an individual to cover tech support, as distinct from tech development. My brother and I are always focused on tomorrow, and having recognised that we are weak in this area, took the decision that it would make better business sense to delegate the task of tech support.

Once these forms are ready to go, the next step is to make the relevant first charge products FSA compliant, hence my thread earlier this month on the subject.

    To answer the above questions..

    1. Do you have Mortgage forms?
Not yet - we are not offering mortgage products until we have finished the FSA project referred to above.
    2. Do you have personal loans, not just secured loans?
If by "personal loan" you mean unsecured loans, then yes, we offer these. We pay a back end or a pay per lead deal at up to £8 per lead.
    3. I was told we can use your CCL license rather than having our own - is this true?
We are happy to provide a "blanket" CCL for affiliates working SOLELY with our merchants, which is free of charge to our affiliate members.
    4. At what point should I consider registering with the FSA myself
When you are legally obliged to - unless you actually start broking or lending yourself, there is no need.
    5. Can I use other affiliate links and other networks on the same site that uses LCH forms?
Yes, but our CCL will only cover you for our products, not those of other networks.

I hope that answers all of your questions, and thank the posters above for their comments and suggestions on how we can further improve our business. Please keep 'em coming.

On your journey looking for alternatives to the lead clearing house, come and visit us at LeadPoint, The World's First Leads Exchange Marketplace

There are a number of reasons why so many Affiliates have signed up with us since we started in the US in 2004 but perhaps the most important, is that our technology enables any lead seller to track the progress of their lead from consumer submission through to buyer completion. They can see if their lead is queued, they can access the reasons why a lead has been returned and they can also track their keywords to see how particular campaigns are working for them. In addition to lead information, a seller can create their own lead channel, can choose from a variety of integrations and can also change a form to how it best fits the content of their website.

Our price point and low commission is also a good reason to give us a try. We’ll take you through what you should expect to receive for each lead as well as giving you feedback on the leads you are sending through. LeadPoint does not return uncontactable leads because we feel that if a seller has incurred marketing costs to generate a lead, it is up to a buyer to work that lead and not give up because they can’t get through on the first try. This is an important consideration for Affiliates to make.

Lead Generation as an industry must try and educate the market and most importantly the buyers. For more information about this, come and visit our blog - Lead Generation in the UK

As well as LeadPoint, there are a number of Lead Generation market places out there, all claim that they are the best. Our policy is simple; try them all and find out what works for you, where you get paid the highest and where the technology supports your marketing initiatives.
