    Hi,

We're currently restructuring our site to try and cope with the cutbacks in lending - there's a few things that have cropped up for us, one being is it worth offering a phone number to potential leads?

I know it affects me, and I always check a website for a phone number, but is it likely to affect general consumers? (I could just be paranoid!). And does anyone here do it (I know its not permitted under AMS but we're not with them), and if so, what sort of enquiries do you tend to receive?

    Thanks in advance,

    Alex

    In a word 'Yes'.

We often find having a phone number increases online form completion rate. Something to do with user confidence in the site etc..

    Hi Alex

    Enquiries are 9/10 very good.
    Conversion is great.
Freephone numbers are worth the weight in gold when compared to bigger organisations publishing 0870 numbers.

Considering the volume of expected enquiries, I'll definitely invest in one of these. I guess theres only one way to see if it works - try it

Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes.

That was lucky, are there any specialist companies that deal with ex-used non geographic numbers?
