Hi James,
Nice site 'an all but... not being pedantic and not wishing to diss you or your site in any way, a financial advice site advertising "Yes Loans" on their front page? Not a great idea in my opinion!

Hi, I run FinancialAdvice.co.uk and I use PPC most of the time, but recently thought I'd give CPM a go too.
The top banner which I want to trial at £500/month receives between 10,000 to 20,000 pageviews daily (site-wide banner). it depends on whether or not there is a hot news topic, which obviously brings in more visitors. Site traffic is growing by about 20% monthly. All the news is indexed within Google News. The site is ranked on the first page of Google for the term "financial advice".
If anyone is interested in the top banner spot or anything else please let me know -
Best,
James

You might want to check your existing ads - especially for credit cards.
I could be wrong but I'm 99% certain it is illegal to display an ad for a credit card which does not show the typical APR for the card.
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.
Hmm, thanks for the info, I will look into it and speak to the ad provider.
John, not sure what you meant by your comment. Perhaps you are referring to the idea that Financial Advice by definition incorporates debt advice, and therefore it could be seen as slightly corrupt that I'm offering people loans?
"financial advice" is a very broad term which covers the whole spectrum of financial products and services. Debt advice is only a relatively small part of that. The majority of people are looking for loans, mortgages, pensions, insurance and so on.
The site itself does not offer any advice (as noted in the disclaimer) but does provide a searchable database of IFAs.
No, I'm referring to the EXTREMELY bad reputation "Yes Loans" has in the industry.
They are a fee charging organisation and the negative response from thousands of customers on forums all over the internet is legendary.
Just Google " yes loans scam " to see what I mean!

ah I see... will look into it, thanks!
Hi James,
You should try Central Trust for your loans they have a good reputation.
Ask for Robbie Fowle or Jon Wilkinson they deal with new business & they can sort you out with some creatives etc for your site.
Cheers,

Hi
They operated on a back end basis when I referred to them, but this may have changed.
They do however provide you with weekly MI reports letting you know how many deals have paid out etc.
They offer both secured & unsecured & are very reliable.
I hope this helps.

Hi James,
I've just sent you a PM.

Hi James
A better idea may be to use the site to generate high quality leads, you will make a hell of a lot more than £500pm.
Give me a call when you get a chance.
Check out : Debt Management / IVA & Secured Loan Fee Structure
Agree with Lee - you'd be much better off collecting leads yourself and selling them on.
And despite all the usual suspects pulling you to pieces over regulations etc. (which is kinda par for the course on here I'm afraid), I must say that I think your site is excellent. Nice design, well thought out, quality content etc. Well done!
I know for a fact that for loans alone our programs could make you heaps more than that Firstplus link , and given the broad subject matter of the site and the excellent ranking you have achieved (congrats) you are sitting on an easy £15k plus per month of income, which you will never achieve running those links.

Hi James
Do you have traffic stats for specific pages?
Michael, £15k+ sounds very interesting of course, I will be in touch!
bills2big.com - No, afraid I don't, but assuming an equal distribution of traffic throughout the site, each section should receive around 1k pageviews or so daily. It depends what news stories are "hot" per day so traffic does fluctuate.
