Help for finance affiliates

I've recently set up a blog to help finance affiliates which I will update every few days with a beginner's guide and regular news updates including articles on new merchants and programs.

Having been in the industry for over 5 years now I hope some of you will be able to benefit from my experience.

Please let me know what you think and I'm open to suggestions on how to improve the site.

Excellent Mike, there aint much to add at this stage.
Interaction from affiliates would be good.
A questions and answer section with an experienced affiliate such as yourself would be great.

I have just added a newsletter feature to the site, you can sign up for FREE regular content by leaving your name and email address: Finance-Affiliate.co.uk


As a small incentive I will randomly select one of the first 50 sign-ups and send them a copy of Casino Royale on Blu-ray. Only applies to affiliates with a mainland UK address (excl. Northern Ireland).

The disc must be worth £20 and you're happy to give it away, post free in mainland-UK. Fair dues.

But then you alienate a chunk of your audience by saying they can't play - because it might cost you a quid or two extra to post it to Northern Ireland, IOM, Republic of Ireland?

You're offering one copy, so over and above your disc cost and the cost of postage to "mainland UK" - say £25 - the cost of leaving out that disclaimer might be another £2.

And that's only if a "non-mainland-UK" subscriber came out of the hat.

I'm "non-mainland-UK" and interested in your thoughts, but sufficently put-off by the pettiness of the small print.

PS. No offence and maybe I am a curmudgeon, but I really do hate curmudegeonly small print.
