Because they are dodgy?.....
Hi,
I have emailed 123 debt solutions twice, and although I did state in my second email that I didn't want to post this on A4U, I feel that I now have to as I have had no response from either emails (sent via the 123 internal mail system).
Question 1 - Please can you explain how a lead goes from "accepted" to "declined" in a few days ?
Question 2 - Why do some leads get accepted and then have a value of £0 for days on end ?
I had a lead from 21st august which was accepted but with a value of £0, and has now changed to declined
I have a lead from 25th august which has been accepted but has a value of £0
I would appreciate an answer on this post, as I have emailed twice with no reply.
Thanks![]()

Hi Frank
Firstly sorry for not replying to your email but I have not seen it... There must be a problem with our support system cos your not the first one to say this.. I will make sure we look at this on Monday. (You can always email me privately.)
Anyway
Question 1 - Please can you explain how a lead goes from "accepted" to "declined" in a few days ?
Answer 1 - This is beacause a merchant has 5 days to open an investigation on a lead thye have accepted and then our verification team will investigate and if necessary credit the merchant and remove the fee from the introducer. (If you email me the id I will take a look why, but there is no doubt a reason in the lead update that you can view via the CP.)
Question 2 - Why do some leads get accepted and then have a value of £0 for days on end ?
Answer - This shouldn't happen, again if you email me the Id I will take a look at the lead... It may well be a payday lead as we have had an error with the feed but that's now fixed.
Thinking on ... A few of your leads recently have been bots or hoaxes and it may well be that one has got past the program and is showing as £0 value cos it didnt meet a programs criteria of payment... Email me the id and i'll check it out.
Findlite... That my son is slander and if you say another word like that I will instruct my solicitor to take legal action against you! I will without a shadow of a doubt make an example out of you! Especially as I don't know who you are and as far as im aware you have absolutely no knowledge of 123 and have no foundation for making such an accusation.
Ohh and as Frank says if you have any information to share with us then please do but take notice of my above statement!
Frank email sent.
As for Michael Anthony.. I think you have a lot more to worry about than me...
Rynert : Ooooppss thanks for pointing that one out...![]()
Hi Smingle,
Further to Lee's comments, If a lead matches the criteria of one of our programs, it will be immediately accepted and a fee attached. If, upon assessment by the merchant it is found out to be a hoax, dead number etc, the lead will then be declined. The merchant has five working days to open an investigation.
We will also accept leads into our system from trusted sources that may not match up to a particular campaign. As we are running an auto-insertion program, we accept that clients can occasionally enter incorrect details (debt levels, income etc) and also be innacurate when calculating expenditure etc. Even though these types of enquiries would be rejected immediately by all other networks/merchants, as we have a valid CCL, we can call these types of enquiries to assess and then apply a fee to the introducer, which you have all been the recipients of!! Basically, we are offering the opportunity to make money on all of your misshapen leads, and if we cannot find a program to suit upon contact, the only thing that has been wasted is our time!
Please keep the leads coming Smingle as the reports that we have had have been fairly good. If you have any further communication problems, please email or call either myself or Lee directly.
Anyone elase who have a problem with, or does not understand what we do please contact me directly also. Using this forum to attack your competitors seems to be a pathetic waste of time!
Lee - email sentand thanks for clearing this up - the "bots" or "hoaxes" are usually leads which have been submitted from a US resident (so obviously no good), as I am number 1 on google.com and yahoo.com for a very popular debt term.
Adam - I have no doubt that the leads are anything else but good, as they are generated from one of the best converting keywords in the debt industryNo probs, drop me and email so I have your direct email address and I will email you direct in future. I did state on the email I sent via the support form, that I didn't want to post this on a4u, as I normally email Lee direct, however I had no option as my emails did not seem to get through.
Cheers guys
