I’ve recently launched my site, and am looking to find homes for the different lead categories I’m generating. I’ve considered The Affiliate Marketing School and some of the other re-sellers, but I’ve obviously got to explore all avenues before I commit to anything.

    So here’s my question:

Does anyone have any advice on which brokers/merchants to speak to or avoid?

    Thanks in advance
    Mike

    Hi Mike

Ive used AMS for a short time and it is simple, clear and easy to get going. They also get back to you quickly if you have any questions.

I have had poor communication with a couple of others but would prefer not to name and shame in public.

Avoid AMS. The only help you get from them is you are told to read their forum posts.
My guess is they won't be around long as they only appeared on the scene during the finance boom and are showing the signs of weakness by trying to belittle other companies. This was seen in the industry in the 80s recession, but they wouldn't know that. All they want to do is brag about how much more they have than you and better cars and do less work etc etc

I think it is probably owned by this guy on this website AMS OWNER

123 debt solutions is far better, have better tracking, phone numbers to contact and payout far more and far quicker.

Also worth looking at all the other networks as they all have some good products. Don't put all you eggs in one basket

We've been in business for over 5 years - more than twice as long as 123.

The only people who don't enjoy working with us are the ones we've kicked out for unethical behaviour - strikes me that you may be one of them.

I also notice that you've been a member since 17th August - around 2 weeks ago, which doesn't add a great deal of credibility to your posts.

In all fairness I did speak to Michael by e-mail about 3 Months ago, I asked him questions about my CCL application and he was quite helpful.
Advice offered below reiterates information strewn across forums on this site and others, the main players are:
    AMS
    123 debt solutions

Finance_Secrets has a point though, never put all your eggs in one basket.

The other reason I was hoping to seek out a smaller finance company that would buy my leads, is that the quote form on my site is original, and will undoubtedly be incompatible with the automatic electronic input the larger sites have.

So, dragging this thread back from the grasps of a slanging match, would anybody else like to add to the list?

    AMS
    123 debt solutions

    Thanks
    Mike

    Michael (AMS),
I think it's pretty obvious they’ve been a "member" a lot longer than that :sneaky

    Mike (Tellmewhatyouknow),
You can't really go wrong with any of the "major" networks, none of them are perfect and they will all from time to time come up with something you don't agree with but that's the nature of the game.

I would highly recommend that you do not stick with just one network. The thing to do is find the products you want to promote and go with the companies offering the best deals BUT run trial's for similar products with different networks/merchants to see what suits best.

As far as companies to avoid... well I don't like to be negative about any fellow traders, we're all in the game for the same reasons and there's room for all to manoeuvre - obviously there are a few "rogues" out there but they do tend to get caught out and occasionally "named and shamed" here on the forum - but this tends to happen more in the world of "data trading" rather than affiliate marketing.

As far as the feud between AMS and 123 is concerned.... well it's quite good fun to watch but I must be honest and say that I've heard better things about AMS than 123 from our affiliates - but that's not to take anything away from 123 as they seem to be hard working guys and a little more dynamic than the more traditional networks.
