Data..These days there alot of rouge data suppliers not always intentionally, rather the fact that there is so many sources for data compared to there was 10 years ago from bogus 'set up' websites purely to generate leads offering free advise ect ect.
my advise is to anyone buying leads is to try and find a supplier that has a steady, predictable leads sources otherwise you can crash and learn the hard way as i did more than once purely due to data which was fractly **** old dummy re-used pish.

I learned the hard way i mean recommending data companies is hard obviously due to the fact data is data and there are many wide varieties. Me and a few have been using Tetrus for our PPI leads for maybe 2 months there good, my mate in Linconshire dealing with the remortgages he's using Tetrus and there's a certain stability that ive missed out on in the past.
So these guys have i have found quite good and recommend them for these aspects of the financial industry at least.
I have been in debt management for the last 11 (very interesting"sarcasm") years and haven't been this happy with the increase of conversion with data since the 90's so that's my short testimonial.
My advise to talk to people that buy data its stating the obvious but speak to your mates in the industry that's how i found my current supplier and my agents are happy, i'm happy and most importantly the Money is there with a capital M.and i have an avid appreciation for it....M
These times credit crunch and all our jobs can be easier than ever so don't get baffled by awkward data suppliers that are a waste of time/money and grief.

I'll be honest, I laughed when reading your post. Firstly, Tetrus has done nothing but spam this forum with sales posts since as long as I've cared to notice. When a data supplier is so active is promoting their data by ramming it down peoples throats, anybody with more than a weeks experience in data buying can guess the reason why.

We spend very very much money on data suppliers every week, as we turn the good stuff into hot keys, and the bad stuff into refunds! We consider ourselves very skilled in determining whos good and who we should stay away from.

You need little more than companies house, google and an IQ to make a call on the above. I'm about to start renting barge poles out to forum users... could start to come in handy. Look who owns the company, look at the very very dark past - stay well away - not the hardest decision to make.

I also like to entertain the offerings of potential suppliers once I've had a good read at their previous posting history etc. For as much as I dissagree with Michael Anthony on a lot of matters, if you look at his posting history, you'll note many views on the industry, the way its heading etc etc... and feedback from current clients. I fail to see any such valuable content from most of the data suppliers.

For me, this indicates that they understand what they are talking about, and not just the latest redundancy from IPT/TMN/DLG etc etc who's burgled the employers contact list. (this isn't aimed at Tetrus at all by the way - just to be clear)...

Virgin posters, backing the service of a company that is so aggressive in selling its data, is counter productive and arised more than an ounce of suspicion for me. Others?

Rob im gonna correct you there if youve not noticed i havent posted anything for mayeb 6 weeks because i was new to this website and got loads of happy customers from it. But understood that consantly posting things isnt very creative but alot of people that read these forums love it and is there only form of lead generate contacts. think about it rob you rarely hear the positive comments... weve actully spent most of our time setting up a dialer for call centers @ the momment which is going swell. so "Tetrus has done nothing but spam" in your words is not correct, my last post was quite a good while ago now. and when i was posting what you considerd spam it was creating good business with customers that are still buying everyday. so you might see the problem but clearly i do not ,im not a guy out to spam folk everyday that would waste my time and a petty income. not to mention boring. Iain i havent spoke to you before but thanks for the comment. Rob im not starting a slagging match because its no good to us. i was just a bit offended that you made us out to be "ramming it down peoples throats" ive never rammed anything down anyones throat Rob. thats a tad harsh most of us if we market just call directors and speak to them or meet them face to face. as i see it, about 70% of all your posts have been negitive so far. from my point of view if any of us here @ Tetrus LTD do post what you beleave to be spam, we are advertising for free and making lots of money from it is this a problem or do i sense a hint of jelousy?? so i will aggree with you this post makes me laugh. This is great my first post and has all ready created a political debate. each to there own guys, i buy data of them and its good.
I do agree with rob in some respects.
This just proves whats wrong with the British work force we are grown men wasting our time.. aren't use people supposed to be at work!! I know i am!!!!
I don't really care for spam i wouldnt read it anyway, i really dont. i guess we all just love a good winge.
