"Must not be dying" - that is an excellent way to explain the criteria.
How would this work on web generated leads? Maybe a simple dropdown..
Are you close to death? YES/NO
Where NO leads the visitor to some Adsense for funerals/will writing services etc.
How do you filter out those pesky terminal cases. Why don't these people just get on with their expiry without wasting our time on the web?
