Hi guys,

I have a website that I've been running for a while that I'm now hoping to monetise. It's basically a search engine that returns a list of software on the results page. We have about 5,000 software products in our database.

I'd like to put a "buy now" link alongside each result, and either deeplink to the supplier's product page, or at least have a tracking link to the supplier's home page. Is there any way of doing this without signing up for the affiliate programmes of hundreds of suppliers? Or are there any better options?

you could try Skimlinks :: Simplified affiliate marketing for publishers - generate revenue from your site's content easily they will do all the tracking for you, you just need to put in links direct to supplier.

Probably best to check they have the merchants you require on board though

Awesome idea... 25% is quite a lot, but it may save a lot of effort. I've applied for Skimlinks and it may be the way forwards, cheers Keith. I think most of the big software merchants are on CJ so I should be OK.

As an alternative, is there any kind of service where your tracking link leads to a search page, and you can pass in a product name as an argument?
