Hi, sorry if this has already been answered many times before but i cant find it using the search.

...can anybody suggest an established affiliate network for merchants who offer no / low setup fees. bascially im looking for a network which will only charge per action with no hidden fees.

i'm particularly interested in networks offering websites with discount codes.

...i came accross aflite but there isnt much information out there on them

    Hi Andy

Ben here from Aflite. With the mention I thought I'd respond. We have lots of offer and discount related affiliates on the network. Please get in touch if you would like further details and see how we might work together.

PM me here or go through Contact Information - UK Affiliate Network Aflite.co.uk

    Hi Andy

Take a look at Profitistic - no set up fees for merchants and a decent bunch:

Affiliate networks are businesses - they need to a)cover their costs and b)make money. If your program has potential for doing both on an override-only contract, then you need to showcase to the network that this is the case. Keep in mind that the more resources you require to be provided by the network (ie, account management), the more likely that you'll need to incur fixed costs.

Cost-free by default and established rarely go together; if you want an established network, you need to negotiate their rate card down based on your earning potential. Be honest with the network regarding your projected sales and you'll get good prices if it makes commercial sense to them.

    thanks for your reposnes!

Ben - i notive that aflite is a self service programe. are the larger affilates such as the vouchercodes.co.uk likley to be put off by this?

nick - i gave profitistic a call yesturday, they didnt seem so interested to be honest. they told me that they are currently tranfering to a new platform and that they will not be taking on new clients until august.

(hero) - i remanufacture and sell ink & toner cartridges. we have very competive prices BUT we have a new web presence. i am willing to offer 15% of the sale for affiliates + any network commision. im sure our products will sell given the right exposure but its a bit of a catch 22. take a look at my website at cartridgebeach.co.uk .

Andy, I don't doubt you have great pricing and solid expansion plans. But, this is a very competitive market you're entering, at least for affiliates, with plenty of well established long standing affiliate programs out there, so it's highly unlikely you'll find an established network who'll be willing to take you on on override only, especially if you'd be looking for sector-based account management. Granted, the earning potential for affiliates is much better on your 15% compared to the usual 4%, but you have a new site and a brand new brand and this is taken under consideration.

I'd recommend you went for a mid-range network, who can offer you their services at reasonable prices - the mammoths won't be interested in reducing their prices and the smaller ones don't have the expertise you'd be looking for.

Just dropped you a PM, Andy. belboon doesn't have any start-up fees or monthly costs and we have good relationships with the types of affiliates you've mentioned here.

Hero - im not confident i can tell the mid-range networks from the smaller ones. can you provide a few suggestions for mid-range networks? ...would Belboon fit into this range? they seem established in europe, not sure about the uk.

    Dave - see pm

    Cheers
