    Hi Mel,

It really depends on the market. PPC is obviously great for promoting some products but others may be difficult to get past the ad approvers. You could also find that your site is based around topics which are too expensive for you to compete successfully with direct advertisers in paid search.

You could always look at paid social traffic such as FB PPC/CPM or alternatively POF. Again, it really depends on what you are promoting. Obviously FB demographic targeting can be a huge advantage is some markets, as can the cheap international traffic.

Small media buys can be another great option as well but it is difficult without having some idea of the general niche you are working in.

    It's "paid" not "payed".

If you have nothing of importance to say, please do not reply to any of my questions.

Hey good spelling is the bedrock of any decent website. I think that's what he meant anyway...

You could always look into the display network as well with Adwords, allows you to search for relevant websites on the network so your targeting the correct audience and create banners to push on those websites.

You load all of this in adwords, so it tells you what the ad sizes you can have you create them and then upload to adwords.

    Lol,

My my Mel, you're a little touchy about the spelling jibe.

Adwords is very easy to pick up but i would ask that you don't bid on the phrase "BI CHEEP GUDS" because I could do without the competition.

When the ONLY thing we have in a forum or website is the written word and images, then spelling is incredibly important. I think Ben's words were mangled because he had his tongue in his cheek
