About to launch affiliate program in France

Hi,

We (Myprotein.com/fr) are about to launch an affiliate programme in France, is there any piece of advice that you would give about differences between affiliate programs in France and UK. Is there anything I need to be aware of legislation, commission differences, types of affiliates, cultural differences etc?

Any help and feedback would be much appreciated (oh and anyone interested in becoming an affiliate on the program send me a message and you will be the first to know when the program has been launched)

probably your chosen affiliate network can guide through the local best practices and intricacies of the FR market. From my experience, email marketing is one of the strongest marketing methods, there's a lot of ppc direct to merchant, and you need strong banner inventory. Retargeting is very usual too. They don't seem too interested in quality feeds, or it might be that they prefer using them from aggregators like Kelkoo to cut down on standardisation problems.
