Hello, My name is Roy (yes another one, as I noticed someone called Roy joined yesterday). I'm even newer to this forum and AM in general, so some advice on how to use these domains in AMing would be very useful please.
I purchased these domains many years ago because I own a company called sunseekerexperience.co.uk and resell my product (company) to 11 main experience day companies and their associated clones or affiliates.
    The additional domains are:
    aeroplaneexperience.co.uk
    astonmartinexperience.co.uk
    boatexperience.co.uk
    4x4experience.co.uk
    corporateeventdays.co.uk
    gliderexperience.co.uk
    helicopterexperience.co.uk
    hotairballoonexperience.co.uk
    kartingexperience.co.uk
    quadbikingexperience.co.uk
    shootingexperience.co.uk
    trackdrivingexperience.co.uk
    thebritishexperience.co.uk
    tryboating.co.uk
Most of these have a holding page now so that Google crawlers can place them nice and high while I sort this bit out. I would of thought that the best company to affiliate with would be someone like virgin experience days, red letter days or buy a gift or all 3. The problem I have is how the site should look, or I think lots of 1 page micro sites with one domain attached to each. Not sure what content to place on the page? Do I get a cloned page from one of the affiliates so it looks like their site and I get my commission when people click through via my domain?
Please help with where to go from here????
    Regards Roy (+44 7767 465566)

Hi Roy, Welcome to the forum!

Had a look over the domains and sadly most of them have very low search volumes for the exact terms, that said they are good domains in terms of branding, just not in exact match.

The best is [Aston martin experience] but still it is only 480 exact UK searches .
However as I said they are very brand able and you could create sites around them.
I would suggest breaking them down into groups and working on a few at a time rather than trying to launch them all at once. If I was you I would see how much each experience costs and work on the most expensive ones first, the idea being you needed fewer sales to make a return.

I would setup Word press on each site, and fill them with content regarding each one and then do a price comparison across a few merchants. Check which merchant can over best % but also which merchant has the best conversion rate, there is no point getting a high % if the brand never converts. You get money per sale not per click, sometimes you get money per 'lead' however this type of sector works on sales.

Do not clone any content, use unique content on each. Google does not like duplicate content and you will not get a good ranking with it. If you do not know what to write about pay someone else to do it for you.

Once the site is live work on link building, drop me a PM and we can exchange a few links Im sure.

If you get the sites live soonish you still have time to make sales for Xmas 2011

    Good luck!

    P.S Love the Sun Seeker!

Sorry to slightly hijack the thread but energizing when you say "The best is [Aston martin experience] but still it is only 480 exact UK searches", what number of exact searches per month would you consider worthwhile for a small niche site. I am looking to setup a couple of sites and I know it is a difficult question to answer. But would 480 not be enough for a site to make say £50 - £100 per month providing SEO and links were in order?

    Thanks

Most people aim for at least 1000 exacts from what I've heard anyway.

Normally I would say a niche below 1k UK exacts is not really worth it. You have to remember the Google Keyword tool is often quite out, so even if it says 1k the real volume might be 600.

However that said you should think about the value of the item, for example if you could setup a site that only has 800 UK exacts, but the item you are selling is worth £2,000 and you can get your site to number 1 that might be worth chasing.

What sector are you looking at?

Thanks for the replies. One in technology and one in home furnishing, but the values would be nowhere near £2K. In that case I think I need to do more research before going ahead.

One approach is to buy big-keyword.co.uk and setup folders with /smaller-niche/ you can then run lots of small niches of the site, all these small niches making up a bigger volume.

Think around what the niche is, take one step back from it and see if there is a 'hub' you can create that lists a few niches in that sector.

    Good luck!

All good advice, although I wouldn't touch Aston Martin experience as it'll be a trademark.
