How many marketing network's and companies am i allowed to register with ?

I am in the process of designing a website and looking to launch it in the near future.

One question i would like to ask is - How many marketing networks (eg. affiliate window) am i allowed to register with ? , and on being registered with a network how many individual companies (eg. currys, boots, HMV) am i allowed to register with ?

Sorry if this seems like a silly question but i am totally new to all of this and educating myself on a daily basis.

You can register with as many networks as you like. In each network you can apply for as many programs as you like (or all of them if you want) although each merchant has their own criteria for acceptance.

On registering with a network what information do they require and does your site have to be live and trading when registering ?

How long does it take a network on average to accept your registration ?

You're always best applying with a live site up and running - doesn't have to be perfected but just something that looks sensible. If you have trouble getting accepted for merchant or network get in touch and explain what you're planning to do. Or shout out on the forum, most networks are represented here.

Obviously it's the weekend now but if you crack on Monday morning you should start getting acceptances during next week.
