This is a very open-ended question...
Firstly, If you have signed up for an affiliate program, then you should be using affiliate links from within your website to link to the product/page you intend....
For Example - Webgains (who are an affiliate network if you never knew) will set up their links like this
    Code:
    <a href="//track.webgains.com/click.html?wgcampaignid=(Your Affiliate/campaign ID)&wgprogramid=(the merchant ID"></a>
This is just an example, and yours will look different depending on your merchant... To check with webgains though, simply log into their site and generate a report, or it tells you how many people have clicked their link.

To check how many visitors your site is getting, i suggest you set up a google analytics account. This is fairly simple to do, and it just requires you to enter a snippet of code into your page header which will verify that the site belongs to you so it can be linked to the analytics account.

Analytics won't be able to tell you how many clicks have converted to a sale, only the affiliate network can do that. IT can give you good tips on what terms people are searching for to find your website, and what your most popular landing pages are.
