I am in a process of buildig my first affiliate website.I have already got a domain name and a hosting company.
Initially I just want to build 4 pages:
    1st-Home + News
    2nd-where to buy products+affiliate links
    3rd-Gift finder
4th-Customer Reviews on products or a blog.
My question is,will the 4th page be okay this way with the Affiliate Merchants and the SEO(for the ranking purpose)?
Will it be better if I put Customer Reviews only or a blog only on this 4th page?I am also thinking of linking a Facebook fan or Twitter on this page.Is it advisable?
They might be silly questions, but your advise and suggestions will much be appreciated.

    Many thanks

Personally, from my perspective as an affiliate, I Find it hard to imagine that 4 pages will be enough for you to rank in SERPS unless you are using adwords or some other form of PPC advertising to attract traffic to your site, but then I may be wrong if your pages are of a superb quality and you have a very good niche with some strong keywords, stranger things have happened...

Search engines do like the social-media interaction, that can either be in the form of a blog, or links to/from facebook etc, but stick with relevancy. Don't go spamming links around for the sake of it if it has absolutely nothing to do with your site, it may affect your page negatively if you are getting links from bad sources that google may end-up blacklisting.

    Thanks MikeCronnie for your advice.

How many pages could be enough? What should I add on these extra pages?
Any more advise regarding this will be much appreciated.

    I agree with Mike.

I'd turn that 4th page in to a blog and update it regularly. The days of stable rankings in the SERP for 4 page websites are coming to an end. You have to really develop content aggressively not just internally on your website, but externally on others.

    Good luck with the project.
