Can anyone give me any pointers here?
Hi all,
I am trying to get my head around affiliate schemes for my work website and could really do with some basic information and pointers please, I feel like my head is spinning a bit.
We have a mobile phone review website (in progress but basically built). I want to display reviews of individual phones (via jreviews) and want an affiliate scheme which will then serve up a number of deals from a variety of providers so my customers can see several deals on offer, click on them and if they buy we get a commission.
I have seen this type of thing on many review websites so I can see it can be done, but who sorts out the affiliate data and gets it to correspond to the individual phone in the review? Is this something that I would have to do or is it something that the scheme would sort out, how does my website and the schemes data communicate to make sure that the right deals are displayed for the correct phone?
I have been speaking to a guy on this forum who offers the datafeed and takes a cut of any commissions, which is fine and sounds like a good option, but what if we got affiliate schemes with a variety of retailers and providers, how could we combine the various feeds together?
the below website is an example of the sort of thing that we would like to do.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks
Can anyone give me any pointers here?
Still looking for help and advice with this one, would be prepared to pay for a couple of hours consultancy.
A number of providers have comparison and review feeds available.

First thing you need to do is to find yourself some affiliates. Try WebGains or Affiliate Window to see what mobile phone affiliates they have and which one's apply to you.
