I'd like to add that I'm only interested in up and running sites that supported by earning figures.
Thanks.
I have read a few posts around here where someone has a one page website that makes money.
From what I have worked out, to make money from a one page site, i need the following.
Relevant search name to the product that is on sale.
down side is, may make money, good money, then someone beats you to a higher ranking
so 2/3 pages will do.
do you have a 1 to 3 page site, if yes, can you please post link so I can look and get ideas?
Thanks

I love the way you qualify your cheeky request with a 'no time wasters' line too. Gotta admire that.
Good luck getting people to hand over this info though mate. You'll need it.
Wow, you need to rename your title from "lazy site" to "lazy affiliate".
I can understand that some people genuinely have little time to spare, however it seems like you want something entirely for nothing. No effort, no idea... perhaps you should consider a government position instead!
It isn't clear but I take it you are interested in organic search traffic? Obviously there are plenty of sites that consist of a single "hard sell" page trying to force some money making plan on you. Anyone interested in AM has prob seen dozens of these before, but they will most likely be marketed through other channels and not relying on search engines to drive traffic.
I did some experimentation with "micro niche" sites a while back, based on some of the ideas in this infamous thread (a fun read regardless).
Yeah, I found that if you targeted one keyword and built a site around it I could indeed out compete bigger sites for that one term. How many pages and back links? No one can say for sure. Keep going until it starts to rank I guess!
As others suggest, you'll 'ave to do your homework though. Try to find a keyword that has low competition but has money making potential. Not easy!! But not impossible. The AdWords discovery tools are a good place to start.
My biggest success was around a new product that no one else realised was about to become massive. By getting a "review" up on a one page WordPress site I was making £100s a day for about a month - at which point the competition took over. Google quite rightly decided the professional reviews were of more interest to users!
Just remember that Google is trying to rank the best most relevant site at the top of its results. My advise is to assume that it does this well and that you won't be able to trick the algorithm, once you accept that you need to make sure that any site you create is better and more relevant than the other sites already out there.
If you find an opportunity where a 3 page site will do that then great! Go for it. A good one I look for is when the top answer is something like a Hubpage or a Yahoo Answer. I figure I can beat those with a more comprehensive site around the topic.
Good luck.

A big thanks to Jeeza101.
It did cross my mind about the answers i will get here, but i posted honestly.
I recall reading a post here where a guy had a one page site, did well every Christmas, it was to do with an American fictional character.
I will sleep on the ideas given by J/101.
feel free to help and a link to your one page site would be nice.
