    Hello,

I'm looking seriously at setting up or buying an affiliate site, but there are a few questions I have come up with.

    1. Can I have a shopping basket which pays each supplier in one hit - like Amazon? This is so that the customer does not have to keep going back to the affiliate site to purchase the next item.

    2. Can I get a report for or access the customer's details from the purchases they make via my site.

    3. Can a promotional code box be set up that different codes can be set up for.

    4. Can a " refer a friend " scheme be built in .

    5. Can a reward points system be built in which would need to be linked to a customer's account so that the customer can view their own account to view previous orders, new orders etc to see how much more they need to purchase to qualify for rewards.

    Many thanks for your help

1 - yes, some sites can do this but if you are starting out that's maybe a step too big.
2 - no and yes, you won't get customer details (but you can ensure customer has an acount login) and some merchants have advanced tracking enabled ensuring you can see what was bought.
    3 - yes
4 - yes but you'd have to think how to incentivise that.
5 - yes but again I refer you to question 1's answer.

Also mainstream affiliate sites (referring to Q1) don't generally handle payments. That's dropshipping. However some affiliate sites do host a separate market place, suitable for retailers to set up micro sites.

If you are affiliate product listing but want to incorporate some of the other features this software is open source and requires adjusting to suit.

Well, most of the things you have mentioned are possible, however, building a good repo in affiliate business is not an easy task. You need to make sure consumers are delivered the best products and services and satisfied with your service. Also, web design and features are two important aspects that helps you to attract new visitors easily.
