so do you get a lot of traffic to wipe-debts? must have a LOT of incoming links?
It is alot to remember I agree, and by using this guide it will help alot of others out

The off page seo one is more important in my opinion, and this willbe written shortly.

Yeh wipe debts gets a bit of traffic, number 1 in every search engine for it's keyword also, and no it doesn't have that many incoming links - this is exactly what this whole thread is about - acheiveing rankings with good onpage and off page seo, and not nessercarily needing 100's of links.

Glad you are finding this post useful mate

Not saying you can achieve this all the time but I have with 1 particular product that does get searched for and does sell
Spon on Stu ! this is the reason I have taken the time to write the guides for people, so they can get the basics right and then learn as they go along.

It is alot easier to learn with correct information rather than from "bob down the pub" lol

But you are right, it can be acheived if you get the right niches

And it can be achieved with a large site too, although many would disagree. I am not suggesting total newbies build large sites straight away, I did but had knowledge form a previous business.

Small niche sites to learn and earn at the same time

It takes time with a larger site but many of the principles are the same.

I don't know to what extent it makes a difference but this is something I've done for a while now.

Well a space is treated as an extra character and could influence which way the keywords are seen by different search engines.

I have always seemed to get better results from NOT using a space in keywords - maybe a coincidence but I know I am not going to start leaving a space

Enjoy and hope you find it useful

    Completely agree with this.

I bought a number of months ago and built some backlinks targeting a specific keyphrase and can't rank for it, the domain is a .org.

I bought a .co.uk more recently, targeted the same keywords and it ranked fine.

Prior to this I had no idea. Guess it's one of those things, you have to make the mistakes yourself before you believe them.

Have to say this is a brilliant thread to have been started thanks to smingle!
