Every market I can think of seems very competitive to me :blush Most people here seem to have sites about pc's, mobiles, gifts, bags, shoes, clothes, underwear, even blue pantsSo, where should newbies look at to get a foot in the door? I believe that the financial products are a good market, but maybe not for a newbie. I was thinking of making a clothing site, but since it's been flooded and overflowing with affiliate sites about clothes, I may reconsider as I think I would not stand a chance. Would any new clothing sites be successful anyway?
Regarding clothing sites, I have now made a sale from the mens shirts site I started.

hmm, my personal view is that the mobile phone sector would be very difficult to do.
What you do with the feeds really depends upon how you are building your site and exactly what you want it to do.
If you understand how to build a website, html and css, then I would recommend Price Tapestry as the most flexible.
I have used Affilistore in the past, but it was not flexible enough for me.
If you want to carry on asking about these, could I suggest you start a new thread and keep this one on it's original track.
I would suggest thinking about an audience, not just products.
Clearly if you look for gadget products, the market looks wildly saturated.
But what about gadgets for the elderly ?
What about childrens first gadgets ?
If you aim at an audience, you've got the potential for at some point being bookmarked as a favourite, which gets you partly out of the constant-attention-worry-about-traffic problem.
Just the same as answering the question on Dragon's Den really when they say "there's a hundred and one people with a mobile phone shop - what's your target market and why should they come to you instead of the others ?"
The only problem is the site has got to be credible as some sort of portal.
If it looks like a passing traffic site with no brand - thats what it will be.
Depends how much time you've got I guess.
RealFreeGadgets - build up your referrals to receive FREE iPhones, iPads, Amazon Vouchers, and many more..
Its an indication of the level of competition you are up against, i.e. an estimate of what your competitors are paying for the selected keywords or phrase. Lower CPC / lower number of ads means lower competition and vice versa.
Google definition:
"Average Cost-per-click (Avg. CPC): The average amount you pay each time someone clicks your ad. Average CPC is determined by totalling the cost of all clicks and dividing it by the number of clicks received."
Average CPC is another column in the Google Adwords Keyword Tool; to display it just select 'Choose columns to be displayed' > 'Show All'
Hope this helps.

So how does Smingle come to his £442 in the same example?
Does this mean if you get to no1 position in the google searches.
As most of his domains haven't made it to no1 yet?
Yep. That is what it means. I don't think Smingle has ever told anyone it was going to be easy!Does this mean if you get to no1 position in the google searches.
