  Confusing message - any ideas?

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas what this means.

When hovering over the Keywords Analysis magnifying glass for a number of words in different campaigns I've started to get this a lot lately:

Keyword Analysis: {keyword}

Ad showing? No
This keyword is not permitted to show your ads in the targeted location.

For details on specific criteria for this test, click the following link.
Details and recommendations »

However, looking at 'Details and recommendations' provides no further clue to what is happening.

Country is set as: UK
Quality is: Great

The ads still appear to be running though ....

Any ideas what is going on?

I`ve had the same, I think somethings broken!

Some of my campaigns have changed to displaying after 4 weeks of saying they weren't, even though they were in the top 3 every time with a high CTR.

Just doesn't seem to be working at the moment, and doesn't work more times that it does. Confused me at first, but then I learn to just ignore it.

Seeing the same here for some of my keywords. Ads are showing though, so a bit strange. Would love to know why its happening.

Thanks tbp and Adrian.

Was worried I'd messed things up somehow so it's comforting to know it's not just me. I've contacted Google, so I'll post any info I get back from them (I'm not hopeful though).

Cheers

Have had a surprisingly useful answer from Google:

"I can confirm that this is a known issue that is affecting the AdsDiagnostic tool and it does not affect the delivery of your ads. The reading can therefore be ignored. Our engineers are currently working to solve the problem and hope to reach a resolution shortly. Thank you for your patience. "

We can all sleep better now.

Re: Confusing message - any ideas?

Its been broken for a month now, suprised it hasn't been fixed by now.

Got an apology out of google the other day, for sending me an email with stuff about an adwords account that should have been sent to someone. The email itself was quite stroppy. Whoever it was had done a chargeback on their adwords bill, and Google were demanding an explanation, I can understand they wouldn't be happy, but the tone of it was strange for a business email.

I get these type of messages for all my keywords, some say trademark violation, even if i used a keyword "dgsnebnsbgfuebguskbfsekb", others just say insuffient information to determine availability. I've had this problem for maybe two months now!

Re: Confusing message - any ideas?

Seems like everyone is having the same problems, the first time i emailed them i got this

"From the information provided, we were unable to replicate this behaviour
and are therefore unable to diagnose the issue you have been experiencing."

Then a day after that they came back with the same message that Bud got about the diagnostics tool being broken.

I just wonder how many people have raised bids or deleted perfectly good keywords in new campaigns thinking that they were not showing.

$10m a day and they cant fix this?

Pull your finger out google!
