Can 2 lots of google analytics tracking go on one page?

Hi Everyone

I've tried getting some info on this but I can't find anything concrete enough.

We have set up a splashpage for an affiliate and they would like the url so they can add Google Analytics to the page. We also use Google Analytics and already have the tracking in place for this page, set up via our account. Is it possible for the affiliate to do this as well from their account? Will this have any kind of impact on the page/our site?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Yes, you can. I wasn't 100% sure but just had a flick round the net, and it's mentioned on a couple of pages and works fine, and will register the hits in both accounts.

The only thing is that it will slow down the page loading slightly, as its got to call the javascript file from googles servers twice rather than once. In practice this would probably not make a noticeable difference though.

Best bet is to give it a try, its not going to be a disaster if it doesn't work.
