Reporting on User Language in Adwords
At the campaign level you get the chance to enable Adwords for people who have their Google settings set to other languages, but are still searching in English.
Eg a UK user might use Google.fr as their homepage (having just moved) or just be French and like Google in French. However they still search for "cheap widget" triggering your keyword. (Ie not searching for "le cheeepe weegiite" or whatever the French equivalent is.)
I remember hearing from our Google rep out here that this can lead to a big increase in searches etc, so it might be worth giving it a go... We've tried it on a pretty damn big campaign here, and it *seems* to be having a good effect, however...
1. Does anyone else do this? (Still geo-targeted to your preferred area)
2. Does anyone know a way to report on this in Adwords - I can't find anything, all of Google's documentations say you should look at Google analytics to see the language and the referrer.
Cheers,
Gav
