Hi all
Has anyone else experienced this? My sitemaps in Google Webmasters aren't updating - i.e. they don't show errors but the "format" and "URLS" columns stay as "---".
They were working a couple of weeks ago and I've not seen this before... I've checked all the obvious stuff but I'm stumped
Any ideas?
Cheers

Thanks Jack, I'll give it a go. The odd thing is the status says "OK", and it's affecting all my sites.
When Google throws a wobbly I get a bit nervous...
I'd suggest deleting your sitemap(s) and then resubmitting which will set them to pending and then eventually OK.
What are your sitemap file names? Are they the usual/preferred sitemap.xml???
I've tried deleting, resubmitting and waiting overnight to see if it changes but that hasn't worked either.
The formats are either sitemap.xml or sitemap.xml.gz for the larger sites.
It's possible there's a processing delay but it seems odd. I've checked to see if there are conflicts between the 'preferred' display url and the one in the sitemap and there aren't any.
All of the sites are hosted on euk on the same reseller account so the same IP. Could that be the problem? In fact, is there a problem at all? I'm not sure! I'm still indexed although seeing 'Total URLs: 0 Indexed URLs:0' is a bit alarming!
To be honest i don't think its going to have a huge impact, it'll only help the spiders crawl a little deeper in a shorter space of time.
I'd leave it as it is and see if anything changes in a week or so.

A-ha! Some anything-to-distract-me-from-product-feed-cleanup surfing has given me a clue!
I think it might be to do with this:
Webmaster Help Forum Announcements: Known issue: Submitted Sitemap files stay "pending"
It's not quite my problem... but close enough to let me shove the angst under the carpet for a while :scared
Now...back to those datafeeds...Darn " get everywhere...
