ok I could do with a DEFINITIVE answer on this one, I am getting conflicting answers from various sources but I know you guys will be straight with me.

Lets say I have 3 domains:

keywordsa.co.uk
keywordsb.co.uk
keywordsc.co.uk

All the keywords are relevant to each other and they are all for similar products. What is the best way to share the effectiveness of the keywords in the URLS. Should I develop a landing page for 2 of them and then re direct the user when he gets to them...or just 301 redirect and put meta description etc at that point.

All help appreciated, especially if you have first hand experience of making something like this work

Hi,

I would:

1. Create a small review site for each keyword, where you give the highest ranking to your money site.

2. Link them like below (use different anchor text):

keywordsa.co.uk > keywordsb.co.uk > keywordsc.co.uk > keywordsa.co.uk

3. Plus get a link (use different anchor text) from each site to your money site...

4. If you can host them on different IP's do it, do not interlink them back.

5. Continue growing your network and update the sites very often, do some social bookmarking on each site too (use different accounts), do some link building from related sites...

That would be a very basic setup.

Drop a blog on all the domains not your main site, grow these blogs over time and deep link to your core site. !!! dont link between them!!!

Yeah that's a good strategy too, use wordpress hosted, blogger and wordpress "free" blogs, 2 - 3 of each a day will do, dont forget to index them using social bookmarking or any other technique...
