I know that buying a link off another website is against google rules. Paid links - Webmasters/Site owners Help
But is providing another website with content with links back to your website against Googles link scheme rules?

I would say 'correctly' is when your article is original and written specifically for the website it will be published on?
Links back to your site should be subtle and relevant to the subject as a means of providing further information, rather than a blatant plug?
Incorrectly would be a syndicated article or wikipedia page with the words jumbled up or where it's obviously been written by a 'content factory'?

paid links arent against googles rules afterall google jp buys links as do a majority of big brands and you dont see them getting penalised!
if you're small then googles more likely to spank u because you dont contribute to adwords in any big way

Does posting PLR articles help to rate our websites better.
PLR?
any articles should be 'spun' i.e. not be duplicated but have rotating content so theres no dupe content
