Hi there,

I'm looking for a good, performance-focused SEO company in the UK, preferably London area.

I had a terrible experience with our first company and would appreciate feedback from you guys.

Of course, price is a factor too.

There are many SEO companies around. All you need to do is quick search on google for Lodon based SEO company and find the right one for you. ATB :tup

Exactly, never choose an SEO company that you can't Google! You might find that they are under some sort of horrible penalty..

They need to rank for a) the company name and b) their domain name at the very least. Assuming that you want an SEO company that can deliver sustained results, rather than a flash in the pan.. of course, those people have their uses too.

uk seo - Google Search

Not many better SEO's in the UK than him. Obviously he's a bit far away for you; it's enough of a pain for us to travel up and see him and we're only in Manchester so we just go up from time to time for consultancy to compliment our in house SEO.

A lot of it comes down to how big a site you're looking to promote and how much you're willing to spend. In terms of London companies, I've heard good things about Digital Marketing - Steak and I enjoyed their presentation at SES. I'm sure they're not cheap, but like most things in life, you get what you pay for. And just to contradict my own argument, they don't seem to rank for anything either

Am I missing something with this post?

1 I would ALWAYS advise clients to google up and find the company in their niche/reason for search as a natural tester for the company performance

2 I would ALWAYS advise clients TO IGNORE PPC ADS :td Anyone can pop one up for a day, take your dosh and run away.

The whole point would be to find a company that knows what they are doing and by ranking well in G for such a mega competitive KP would be priceless IMHO.

The seo company who thinks it is important to be at the top of google will try to get there. The best seo people have too much work and are making too much money to care about finding more clients by ranking in google.
