    Hi everyone,

I'm playing with adding those little buttons to my sites that let you submit pages to social network sites. I'm trying to find info on whether you're allowed to submit your own pages and whether you do the main page or every blog post.

    Any direction much appreciated.

    Tom

Submit in social site is always beneficial for site. I am a true believer in what social media marketing can do. Whether through high quality links or just plain old additional referral traffic.

You are welcome to do it, but there are probably better uses for you to spend your time if you just chasing traffic. Remember social surfers on Digg etc are just clicking around wasting their time. They are unlikely sitting there with the wallets open! It is tempting to think that Adsense is just about numbers but again eg Digg users are a savvy lot and are less likely to click through. Your CTR will then drop and you CPC will drop as Google wont want to pay you so much per click from your SEO traffic. Google is smart like that - traffic quality counts!

If you are using it for your own benefit, eg personal Delicious bookmarks then that's cool if it helps you. No prob with doing that

    Good luck.
